Due to a tax credit for film, more and more celebrities and crews are coming to Boston to make magic happen. Spirited, a film set in New York, filmed downtown and in Copley. And, not too long ago, Ben Affleck and JLo filmed a Dunkin commercial in Medford! Next week, Ben and Casey Affleck, as well as Matt Damon will be in Boston filming their upcoming movie, under the working title, “Quincy.”
Although these celebrity sightings are still pretty rare compared to LA or New York, it’s pretty cool! Check out some of the stops your favorite celebs have been spotted at in Boston:
Tom Brady- La Morra; Brookline
This was Tom’s favorite spot to eat as a New England Patriot!
Khloé Kardashian- Zuma; Back Bay
Khloe as seen eating at this sushi spot inside the Four Seasons One Dalton, back when she visited for Celtics games.
Charlie Puth- Mother Juice; Back Bay
The singer was spotted here back in 2018 grabbing a smoothie during his tour.
Jake Gyllenhaal- Barcelona; South End
The actor and a bunch of friends dined here while Jake was filming in 2016.
Madelaine Petsch- Pavement Coffee; Back Bay
The Riverdale star, who also has a YouTube channel shared her Boston stay in a vlog and claimed that Pavement has “the best matcha latte ever.” She was also spotted shopping on Charles Street at Vintage Taste on Beacon Hill.
Zendaya and Tom Holland- Tatte; Back Bay
The couple was spotted at Tatte while Zendaya filmed a movie in Boston last summer.
Zendaya, Lady Gaga, Ben Stiller- Plant Pub; Kendall Square and Fenway
Zendaya seems to know the Boston food scene well! Herand Gaga both were spotted at the Fenway location and Ben Stiller celebrated his daughter’s birthday at the Kendall Square Plant Pub!
Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone- Table Mercato; North End
The dup stopped by this recently opened North End shop to pick up items for New Year’s Eve when DiCaprio was filming Don’t Look Up in Boston.
Matt Damon- Il Casale; Belmont
Matt Damon frequents Il Casale whenever he’s in town as it’s close to home. The star grew up just a few miles away in Cambridge.
