It wasn’t that long ago Bostonians were excited to have Zendaya in town filming the tennis drama, Challengers. The award-winning actress is back in the city filming alongside co-star Robert Pattinson.
The duo was spotted on set, around Boston near South Station with film crew cars all along High Street, Federal Street, and Franklin Street in Downtown Boston.
Students swooned when the stars filmed at Phillips Academy in Andover—transforming the preparatory school’s Addison Art Gallery into a fictional “Cambridge Art Museum,” where Pattinson’s character in the film works, according to sources.
Zendaya and Robert Pattinson are starring in the new A24 film titled “The Drama,” which is set to continue filming in Boston and Cambridge, through the fall, before shooting some final scenes in Ipswich and wrapping in December.
Outside of filming, fans noticed Zendaya all around Beacon Hill and the South End, enjoying an outdoor meal at Tatte on Charles Street, exploring Beacon Hill Books & Cafe, and even grocery shopping at Whole Foods Ink Block.
Stars, they’re just like us!
