1. Hojoko
This hip Izakaya-style restaurant at the Verb hotel offers some excellent Japanese fare, and one of the city’s best ramen bowls! There’s plenty of variety on offer at Hojoko all the way from freshly-made sushi and sashimi to hearty crispy fried wings.

2. Sweet Cheeks Q
If Southern-style BBQ is what you’re after then we highly suggest checking out Sweet Cheeks. This Boylston St restaurant from Tenderoni’s masterchef, Tiffani Faison, serves delectable family-style BBQ platters of tender, buttery-soft meats and hearty biscuits. Plus its laidback setting will have you feeling right at home.

3. Tatte
What began as a small bakery neighbored behind Fenway is now a Boston empire, and with good reason. Tatte’s selection of salads, sandwiches, and sweets never disappoints. It’s one of the most wonderful coffee shops in the entire city–try their House Latte, Crunchy Halloumi Salad, and Short Rib Grilled Cheese!

4. Tasty Burger
It’s safe to say this retro burger joint is a total classic of the Fenway area, so our list wouldn’t be complete without it. From the Tasty Cheeseburger to their new patty melt with caramelized onions served on a griddled toasted bun, you can never go wrong when choosing Tasty!

5. Loretta’s Last Call
Another great option for Southern fare, enjoy dishes like fried chicken & catfish with a side of live country music in roadhouse digs at Loretta’s Last Call.

6. El Pelón Taquería
El Pelón is a total must-try if you’re a fan of Mexican food. This Fenway outpost is a super popular destination with Red Sox fans, who you can often find lining up outside the taquería for some incredible takeout.

This fast-casual seafood joint offers a menu full of fish in the sea. Try everything from fried oysters to brown butter lobster rolls and finish with their rotating soft-serve flavor!

This popular spot on Comm Ave is perfect for anyone to enjoy some tasty Japanese dishes. At Uni, you’ll find all kinds of delectable dishes all the way from sushi to late-night ramen. While technically not in Fenway, it’s a very short walk away that is well worth it.
