We’ve found some of the best places to grab a bite around Fenway Ballpark!
We may be barred from attending Red Sox games at Fenway for the moment, but at least we can still enjoy some killer bites in the surrounding restaurants. And with Fenway Park opening as a supervote center for the upcoming presidential election, it might be a good idea to keep in mind the best restaurants around Fenway for a rewarding post-voting snack! That’s why we’ve come up with some of our favorite restaurants surrounding the storied ballpark.

This hip Izakaya-style restaurant at the Verb hotel offers some excellent Japanese fare, sake and refreshing frozen cocktails. There’s plenty of variety on offer at Hojoko all the way from freshly-made sushi and sashimi to hearty ramen and crispy fried chicken wings.

2. Sweet Cheeks
If Southern-style BBQ is what you’re after then we highly suggest checking out Sweet Cheeks. This Boylston St restaurant serves delectable family-style BBQ platters of tender, buttery-soft meats and hearty biscuits. Plus its laidback setting will have you feeling right at home.

3. By CHLOE.
You don’t have to be vegan to enjoy By Chloe’s scrumptious dishes. This plant-based restaurant just a block away from Fenway Park serves some excellent vegan comfort food including tasty vegan burgers, hearty salads and velvety smooth ice cream. We highly suggest trying their famous “mac n cheese” with sweet-potato-cashew cheese, shitake bacon and almond parm, you won’t regret it.

4. Tasty Burger
It’s safe to say this retro burger joint is a total classic of the Fenway area, so our list wouldn’t be complete without it. From the classic cheeseburger to their new patty melt with caramelized onions and a griddled toasted bun, you can never go wrong when choosing Tasty!

Another great option for Southern fare, enjoy dishes like fried chicken & catfish with a side of live country music in roadhouse digs at Loretta’s Last Call.

El Pelón is a total must-try if you’re a fan of Mexican food. This Fenway outpost is a super popular destination with Red Sox fans, who you can often find lining up outside the taquería for some incredible take out.

If you’re looking for a more upscale dining option (an honestly who wouldn’t want to treat themselves after waiting long hours in line to vote) we suggest trying Evening Standard. This glamourous spot on Kenmore square offers some top-notch brasserie-style fare and upscale cocktails.

This popular spot on Boylston street is perfect for anyone to enjoy some tasty Japanese dishes. At Basho, you’ll find all kinds of delectable dishes all the way from sushi to Donburi and build-your-own noodle soups.
