SoWa Open Market returned for the season bigger and better than ever before! One of Boston’s largest open-air markets alongside Seaport Summer Market, SoWa Open Market cohabits food trucks, regional and local vendors, and artists along Harrison Avenue in the South End.
It’s one of our favorite ways to ring in the spring and summer, especially when the weather decides to cooperate, too. The relaxed and expansive market is adjacent to the pedestrian-only Thayer Street, so it’s easy to comfortably browse and gather at the powerhouse for communal bites from the delicious food trucks!
Speaking of food trucks, one of the open-air market’s main attractions, this year’s lineup welcomes:
- Wild Pops
- Ben’s Raclette
- Wild Pops
- Clover
- The Elite Dough
- Eloti
Food trucks at SoWa debut on a rotating schedule, with 5 trucks present each week on Sundays. In addition to the beloved food trucks, over 250 vendors are confirmed for this year’s market. Shop admirable art from creators at Sean Gregory Designs, More than words, The Drift Collective, The Science Boutique and more!
Various local farms bring produce so you can get your Sunday fun and farmer’s market shopping done in one trip! From free concerts to outdoor art classes each Sunday at SoWa presents the opportunity to immerse yourself in a new and exciting adventure as well!
Each first Friday of the month, artists of the SoWa Art + Design district host open studios so you can enjoy a free gallery crawl and maybe even purchase what you like on Sunday!
