Sister Snacking is a quartet of local food experts who’ve curated a list of where to eat caviar in Boston. They’ve sifted through all of the fishy options, so you don’t have to. These nine spots below serve up everything from a simple Ostrea with blini, to a funky caviar “ice cream cone,” all equally impressive and memorable.
1. Abe and Louie’s, Back Bay
What to get: This Back Bay institution has a regal baked potato to match the regal ambiance. Order the “Million Dollar Bake Potato.”
The large baked potato comes smothered in smoked surgeon creme fraiche and caviar.

2. Puritan Oyster Bar, Inman Square
What to get: Think of an ice cream cone, but savory. The “Caviar Cones” at Puritan Oyster Bar are a fun way to get your fix.

What to get: The “caviar service” at Waypoint comes with all your caviar fixings for the perfectly balanced bite. You’ll get chips and mini brioche donuts as your vessels and top them with minced red onion, sour cream, and of course, caviar.

What to get: Enjoy a fragrant bowl of green onion creme fraiche topped with caviar. The classic combo comes with a side of house potato chips.

What to get: Enjoy a grilled Martin’s potato roll smothered with a heap of caviar and topped with a dollop of whipped butter for the ultimate melt-in-your-mouth caviar treat.

What to get: The new 10-seat omakase shop in South End tops some of its already delightful fish with fresh, flavorful roe. The Harry Crab course comes dolloped with fresh caviar for that extra something.
