1. Zuzu’s Petals
We have to start with this screen-free cafe in Cambridge. Similar to the strict Alamo Drafthouse policy, you will literally be escorted from the restaurant if you use any kind of phone or screen. Even to call your Uber. With a farm-to-table menu and screen-free zone, it’s the perfect spot to give your undivided attention to your date!
2. The Inn at Hastings Park
This quaint boutique hotel & restaurant is the Boston area’s only Relais & Châteaux property! Aka, it is perfect if you want a super luxe Valentine’s Day. Book a fireplace room for an overnight stay and dine in a fabulous INNgloo that features a charming faux-fireplace heater and mini speaker for mood-setting background music.
3. City Tap House
City Tap House is getting back to basics with a “no strings attached” dinner designed around the greatest love of all: food. We weren’t joking! The special 3-course Valentine’s Day meal can be enjoyed by 1, 2 or a huge party. Dine on everything from a wagyu meatball with tomato fondue to a 14oz prime ribeye steak with whipped potatoes, sauteed spinach and bordelaise!
4. Lola 42
If you really want to impress someone, bring them to this waterfront restaurant in Seaport. Known for its special “Sushi Sundays,” Lola 42 has another special rolled up its sleeves (see what we did there?)! The 3-course Valentine’s dinner includes Toro Crispy Rice, Grilled NY Strip & Seared Scallop, and Banana Butter Cake for dessert!
5. Zuma
Continuing with the sushi trend, another way to knock your date’s (Red) Sox off is taking the to the Four Seasons One Dalton. Because it’s the Four Season, duh! the sushi spot is offering a tantalizing 12-course omakase menu featuring everything from grilled scallops with pickled plum, shiso, and mentaiko butter to spicy chu toro sashimi! For a daytime treat Zuma Boston will host a special Valentine’s Brunch complete with sushi, a hot buffet and a dessert platter.
6. Geppetto
Chef Will Gilson’s romantic Italian destination Geppetto will be offering a special four-course menu to celebrate amore! The menu features a choice of options including dishes like lobster gnocchi with mascarpone, orange, calabrian chili, and roasted pepper or Grilled skirt steak
with duck fat potatoes, tuscan kale, and salsa verde.
7. Little Whale Oyster Bar
Caviar anyone? Chef Michael Serpa’s Newbury St. newcomer Little Whale will be offering a $75 five-course prix fixe seafood menu. Additionally, oysters, shrimp cocktail, dressed lobster and caviar service will be available a la carte at this intimate Back Bay restaurant!
8. CLINK. at The Liberty Hotel
The Liberty Hotel’s signature restaurant pays homage to its Charles Street Jail roots. Executive Chef Daniel Kenney whipped up an on-theme “Locked in Love: Valentine’s Day” pre- fixe menu. The tantalizing selection even offers a “Jailbird Dessert” made for passionate lovers.
9. Artisan Bistro at the Ritz
Want dinner and a show? The 3-course pre fixe menu for $89 at the Ritz will do the trick. Dine on Lobster & Crab Ravioli, baked brie with cranberry compote, and finish with a rich flourless chocolate cake served with Caramel banana gelato, strawberry compote, roasted pineapple. Then head over to the neighboring Citizen’s Bank Opera House to catch the hilarious musical, Funny Girl. Tickets sold separately.
10. Lulu Green
Want to really win over someone’s heart? Pay attention and listen to their dietary restrictions. Whether they are dairy-free, gluten-free, or potentially follow a plant-based diet.
If that’s the case, Lulu Green has an exquisite plant-based 4-course meal to enjoy on February 14 and 15! Courses include a carrot miso Bolognese, charcuterie for two, eggplant steak, and spiced rice pudding!
11. Gigi
The cozy neighborhood South End Italian restaurant offering an 80’s-style ambiance with dim lights, a wooden bar, and a homey living room vibe is so comfortable you’ll feel right at home with your date! Italian food never fails for date night.
12. Puritan & Co.
The modern American spot with an emphasis on New England fare is offering up a tempting 4-course dinner for $95. The menu includes choices such as Maine mussels, eggplant schnitzel, butter poached seared cod and ricotta cheesecake with coriander mousse.
13. Strega
The North End favorite is getting a Valentine’s spark this February. Enjoy Heart Shaped Lobster Raviolis in a delicious pink cream sauce or a Surf and Turf entree option of an 80z filet, seafood stuffed lobster tail, mashed potatoes and asparagus for the holiday. They’ll also host a Galentine’s brunch over the weekend.
14. Urban Hearth
The cozy Cambridge farm-to-table spot is offering up a tantalizing menu to match its intimate quarters. The Chef’s Counter Experience with Head Chef Erin Miller offers front row dining to the award-winning 5-course Chef’s Tasting menu for $150 per person. It’s a dinner that’ll be talked about for decades.
15. Moona
The award-winning Eastern Mediterranean Mezze restaurant is offering a 4-course pre fixe menu for Valentine’s Day with options like Msakhan Duck Rolls with sumac onions, bharat spices, and sour cherry dip, Mushroom Farro with peas, red peppers, smoked onions, and truffled labneh, Nine-Spiced Chicken with parsnip hummus, haydari, zhoug, and crispy onions. For dessert, pick from knafeh, orange blossom creme brulee, saffron rice pudding or hallawa cheesecake with grape molasses.
16. Prima Italian Steakhouse
One of the “most romantic Boston restaurants” is about to get an extra serving of love potion. Enjoy succulent Italian food in the Park Room or Rose Room with a chef’s curated pre fixe menu for $110 per person served February 14-17.
17. Waverly Kitchen & Bar
The New American kitchen is perfect for couples, Galantine’s or a solo date. The cozy fireplace restaurant open for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner is offering a Chocolate Covered Strawberry Iced Coffee by day starting in February, and a special menu by night for Valentine’s dinner!

1. South Street Diner
Celebrate your solitude all week long with the diner’s “Anti-Valentine’s week.” The late-night restaurant will celebrate Slap Day with its signature FLAP-jacks that make for the perfect SLAP!
2. The Inn at Hastings Park
Not only is the property fabulous for couples, but they’re also hosting a Galentine’s High Tea at Town Meeting Bistro on Valentine’s Day! Join them on February 15 from 11 AM- 3 PM to celebrate and honor friendship, besties, sisterhood, mothers, at a high tea with sweet and savory bites and tea blends from local area J’enwey Tea Company. 3. Love Pong at SPIN Boston
Take your aggression out on another single year at SPIN, Boston’s coolest ping pong destination. To ensure that sparks fly, SPIN Boston, the ping pong social club and restaurant in Seaport, will be hosting Love Pong. This pizza shop pioneered the heart-shaped New England Style pizzas on V-day and will return these very Pinterest-worthy pies again!
5. Sugar Factory Boston
This one is fine for couples and singles alike, as anyone will easily fall in love with these over-the-top creations to get in the spirit of love. From mac and cheese to hot cocoa and fancy beverages, Sugar Factory is making all your favorite foods, pink, heart-shaped, and completely photo-op ready! This special menu and decor is available at Sugar Factory from January 21 through February 15.
