On Monday, August 17, the Her Time to Shine: Back to School Sport Expo will run from 10 AM to 3 PM at Mother Caroline Academy and Education Center, 515 Blue Hill Ave, Dorchester. Organized in partnership with the City of Boston Women’s Advancement office and Minority Women in Sports, Inc., the expo aims to connect young women with resources and role models both in athletics and leadership.
The following afternoon, a Block Party on Canal Street will run from 2 PM to 6 PM ahead of tip-off. The free outdoor event will feature live entertainment, food and beverages, giveaways, and family-friendly activities, offering fans of all ages a way to build into the game-day atmosphere in the surrounding neighborhood.
