Taylor Meier (Caamp), Matt Quinn (Mt. Joy), Marc Roberge (O.A.R.), Joshua Harmon (The Back Seat Lovers), Briston Maroney, Adam Melchor, and Yuke Lore are slated to perform at the Nantucket Crisps Whale Jam benefit concert.
The concert will take place at Roadrunner on Thursday, May 16. Hosted by local crisp company, Nantucket Crisps, Whale Jam will benefit The Whale & Dolphin Conservation, who are dedicated to preserving our ocean’s North Atlantic Right whales.
The critically endangered species were once cherished companions of Nantucket Island, the same island that inspired the bold flavors of Nantucket Crisps. North Atlantic Right whale populations decreased significantly over the past two centuries due to overfishing, boating accidents and more. There are only about 340 North Atlantic Right whales left, 70 of which are reproductive females.
Established in 2022, Nantucket Crisps have been proud partners of the Whale & Dolphin Conservation, raising awareness one delicious crisp at a time.
The incredible crisps are island-inspired and produced locally, here in Boston. Beautifully executed flavors like Steps Beach Salt and Vinegar and Stubbys Jamaican Jerk stemmed from the nostalgia of founders Hayden Arnot and Sara Jemison. The childhood friends summered on the island together, always with chips in hand before launching their perfect flat x kettle chip hybrid that yields a delightful texture.
The crisps are made in small batches “with flavor dictated and inspired by Nantucket,” so you get a taste of island life anywhere. Find Nantucket Crisps online or at one of the 640 stores across the U.S. they’re already in, despite only launching in 2022. And don’t miss a chance to enjoy great music, for a great cause, with great chips this May!
Tickets are already on sale! You can reserve yours to Whale Jam online.
