What to do on Nantucket?
One of our favorite things about Salt House Nantucket, although we are completely smitten with the property and could easily spend the whole day there, is its hyper-central location. Children’s Beach is 800-feet from the property, aka a 3-minute walk away!
Jetties and Francis Street Beaches are also within a 5-minute walk. Steps Beach is just a 12-minute walk from Salt House Nantucket. The island’s iconic Brant Point lighthouse is a 9-minute walk (perfect for a sunset photo op!)

The island’s downtown area is also just feet away, with so many delicious food and beverage options like Dune, Walter’s, Lemon Press, Lola 41, and Cook’s Cafe. And do not skip strawberry ice cream on a homemade cone from The Juice Bar– it is simply the best!
After a night on the town you can come back and relax by the hotel’s firepit and play a round of ping pong at the outdoor table!
