Utopia, New England’s swankiest food and culture festival returns to Seaport this weekend, March 2-5! It’s a dreamland for plant lovers and foodies. Shop, taste, and meet with all of your favorite local artists, artisans, and chefs, such as Petrova Chocolates and Buck and Bloom!
The annual event takes place on all three floors of the Black Falcon Cruise Ship Terminal!
Each year, the festival brings in 20,000 visitors, with plenty of foot traffic through its three main components. You can shop everything from food and body care to jewelry and art along the “Main Street Marketplace.” Or, get a little spring fever at the interactive garden and floral installations! There are also unique demonstrations happening four times daily throughout the Utopia festival.
If you prefer to eat your plants than arrange them, check out the dining scene with dozens of local vendors offering everything from local cheeseboards to craft sweets! Tickets are required to enter the festival and start at $35 general admission for the day, items bought at the festival are sold by vendors at a seprate cost. You can also purchase a 4-day pass for $100 as there is so much to see!
In addition to the open marketplace, which operates the entirety of each day, immerse yourself in epicurean chef’s tables and DIY plant and floral classes! Below is a tasting of this weekend’s schedule of events:

11:30 AM: Sushi masterclass with acclaimed Japanese chef, Youji Iwakura
3:30 PM: Grazing board workshop with Buck & Bloom Owner, Victoria Kinzel

11 AM- 7 PM: DIY plant and floral classes
Floral and plant classes include a mix of options to pick from such as developing a hand-tied floral arrangement, arranging living orchids, or creating your own terrarium!
