Boston’s closest u-pick tulip experience
The fourth annual Tulip Mania festival returns this April. Tulip Mania is the closest you-pick tulip experience to Boston, and easy to get to with the help of the MBTA Green Line or Commuter Rail!
Tulip Mania is expected to return this weekend, on April 18. The return is weather dependent, so make sure to confirm on the Tulip Mania status site.
In addition to thousands of tulips, guests can appreciate a multitude of spring flowers blooming throughout the 36-acre The Garden at Elm Bank, including rows of daffodils in the Italianate Garden, fragrant magnolias and lilacs, decades-old rhododendrons, and purple alliums between April and May.
“Something wonderful will always be in flower,” she says. “We’ve planted many new trees, shrubs, bulbs, perennials, and annuals—there’s something new to fall in love with each time you visit, notes the Massachusetts Horticultural Society.”
Tickets vary by membership and whether visitors will pick tulips or just enjoy the picturesque fields.
