Where can you enjoy a bowl of cluckin’ good 48-hour broth ramen, Anoushella shawarma, Cusser’s Wagyu roast beefs, and finish it all off with a buttery Union Square Donut? The answer is Fenway’s Time Out Market.
And you can do that for one final time, now through January 23.
The concept of bringing together Boston’s top chefs under one roof was introduced to Boston in 2019 by Time Out Market. Boston joined the family of what are now 13 locations and counting for the popular concept, which already had outposts in other American cities like Brooklyn, New York. While Time Out Market remains open in four North American cities (NYC, Brooklyn, Chicago and Montreal), plus, several international cities (Barcelona, Lisboa, Porto, Dubai, Bahrain, Cape Town, Osaka, and Budapest), Time Out Market announced its Boston location will permanently close next week on Friday, January 23:
It has been an honor to serve Boston, and we have loved our time here. Boston is a fantastic city with outstanding food and cultural scenes. We want to thank our team, our chefs and restaurateurs who truly are the best of the city—it is thanks to all of them that the Boston Market has been a wonderful place for our guests whom we also would like to thank wholeheartedly. We are proud to have been able to give our vendors a platform in Time Out Market, we will continue to champion these outstanding, best of the city talents. We hope to welcome many of you as our guests at the Market this month to enjoy our vendors’ amazing food, said Time Out Market CEO, Michael Marlay, in a statement.
Despite the shuttering of the Boston location, Time Out Market is expanding to Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Prague—with new openings slated soon. So long are the days of stopping by the market before a game at Fenway. If you’re in need of new recs for your pre-game munchies, check out some of our favorite spots in the neighborhood.
