Twinkling lights, gorgeous yurts and winter cocktails? Yes, please!
The pandemic sure hasn’t been easy on us but it at least has brought about new ways to enjoy outdoor dining So far we’ve seen igloos, fire pits and greenhouses pop up all around Boston and now we’ve also got yurts! The Bowery Bar in Dorchester, MA, has set up three adorable yurts out in its patio which are perfect for socially-distant outdoor dining and we’re all about them!
The Bowery’s cute little tents come with their own heating and lighting systems so you can enjoy your meal come rain, shine or snow, and can sit up to six guests. The yurts can be rented for private dining up for periods of 90 minutes at a time and come with adorable twinkling lights included!
What’s on the menu you ask? Well, at the Bowery’s yurts you’ll be able to enjoy the full range of options the bar has to offer for brunch, lunch at dinner. Their menue features classical bar fare with options like dips, burgers and pasta for lunch and dinner as well as tasty pancakes and omelets available during weekend brunches.
The bar has also rolled out a special “Winter Warmers” cocktail menu featuring some incredible-sounding options like boozy hot chocolate with peanut butter, Ancho Reyes and toasted marshmallows and hot toddies!
If you can’t manage to book your spot in one of Bowery’s yurts, the bar has also recently added glowing igloos. The bar has also jumped on the igloo dining trend and has added three heated igloos for outdoor dining. Like in the yurts, you’ll be able to enjoy the full range of the Bowery’s menu. The Bowery Bar’s yurts and igloos require prior reservation and are available for lunch diner and brunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
