Boston native turned Watertown resident, Kimberly Nguyen and her father spent months preparing for Halloween. Together they created an epic Taylor Swift-themed The Tortured Poets Department Halloween display, featuring a 15-foot-tall Taylor skeleton in a poetry-coded dress inspired by the one Taylor wore during The Eras Tour.
If you missed the epic “Graveyard of Taylor Swift Boyfriends” Halloween house on Beacon Hill last year, Kimmy’s Watertown home will surely delight and unite Swifties. Nguyen notes, “I had fond memories of Halloween as a child so I am trying to pay it forward and spread the Halloween joy. My dad and I worked together on this display for the last few months and we’re just excited for folks to see it.”
This Thursday, Halloween night, they will have fog, candy, snacks, and juice, all to the tune of Taylor’s newest album, The Tortured Poet’s Department. During the Halloween bash there will also be a friendship bracelet making station with jumbo charm bracelet backdrop! Nguyen encourages trick or treaters of all ages to come and enjoy! Taylor-themed costumes not required.
Kimberly is also the founder of Weightless Innovations, a Boston-based event company specializing in balloon decor, custom signs, backdrop rentals & more!
