From April 7th to 11th, the Icelandic culture festival Taste of Iceland will be hosting events across various locations in Boston.
Across the five-day festival, the events will be hosted at mainstay Boston locations. Cheeky Monkey will be featuring a full Icelandic menu this weekend. From 5pm onwards every night, you can try dishes like Nordic Tacos (featuring an assortment of smoked and charred seafood), rack of lambs, and a smoked chocolate Fagradalsfjall Stout.
Alibi at the Liberty Hotel is hosting a cocktail class on April 7 with a mixologists from Reykjavik, where you’ll get to sample two free cocktails. On the 8th, Trident Booksellers will host a book discussion with author Eliza Reid, Iceland’s very own First Lady and accomplished writer.
The festival will also include yoga classes and film screenings – all completely free and open on a first-come, first-serve basis.
