The chic seafood spot recently reopened with a new look!
Sidell Hospitality, operated by restaurateur Kathy Sidell, reopened Saltie Girl Boston with a new look and new menu! The bubblegum pink walls have been replaced with ocean-inspired seafoam green and teal with touches of blush and brass throughout.
The original Saltie Girl, which opened in 2016 at 281 Dartmouth Street, has been kept intact. Changes were made to the Saltie Girl extension which replaced Met Back Bay in 2020.
“We decided to renovate because after we moved into the space in 2020, we had barely any time to re-envision the space as Saltie Girl, and after opening Saltie Girl LA, we were able to start with a clean slate as to what Saltie Girl was meant to be,” says owner and operator of Sidell Hospitality, Kathy Sidell. “The LA vision defined the new renovations and components were brought into the design, like the green walls, the tiled floors and some of the fabrics, wallpapers and hues that will be found throughout.”
Saltie Girl favorites from years past are on the new menu by popular demand. If you know, you know.
Original Saltie Girl favorites like Torched Salmon Belly with torched tomato, sushi rice & miso glaze; Tuna Carpaccio with lime leaf oil, pistachio, fried capers & pickled red onions; Yellowtail Crudo with grapefruit, orange, pickled ramps, lime leaf oil, trout roe & green onion; and Dover Sole served with blue hill bay mussels & herb butter are back on the menu!
Both the Saltie Girl spot on Dartmouth and the wrap-around extension are now open to enjoy the restaurant’s incredible seafood creations. Find Saltie Girl Boston for lunch and dinner daily and an additional brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays.
