The Connecticut-born bagel shop with the tagline “not famous, but known,” just unveiled its second Boston-area location in Assembly Row, Somerville. This presents the perfect opportunity to hit the boxing ring at Rumble Boxing and grab some hot bagels and yummy schmear after class! The new location for PopUp Bagels in Somerville is officially open for their signature HOT BAGELS and schmears.
PopUp Bagels heats up Assembly Row
The grand opening date for the new location is slated for Friday, July 25, so you can kick your weekend off with some PopUp Bagels.
Selecting Somerville and specifically Assembly Row as our second Boston location made perfect sense. It’s a great property with tons of great tenants and amenities. It’s owned by a fantastic company and allows PopUp Bagels fans from the North Shore and suburbs a convenient way to enjoy our bagels with lots of parking and easy access. We are thrilled to bring PopUp Bagels to Assembly Row, said Seaport and Assembly Row owner and operator, Brian Harrington.
PopUp Bagels opened its first Boston location at The Superette in Seaport in January. PopUp Bagels also continues to offer weekly bagel pick-up at Captain Marden’s Seafoods in Wellesley. The franchise also secured its first Cambridge location set to open this fall, Harrington shares.
“As for what’s next, our Cambridge location is set to start taking shape in the next few weeks and we feel strongly about Harvard Square in Cambridge being a perfect 3rd location for us here in Boston. A targeted mid-fall opening means we will be there to serve the Harvard and Cambridge community shortly.”
