For the second time now in three seasons, the New England Patriots won’t be advancing to the playoffs. With an 8-9 season record, fans are frustrated with the performance and hoping changes will be made for the next season after a loss to the Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park, N.Y. last night.
The game featured jaw-clenching moments as the Patriots and Bills were able to knot scores at 7-7 and 14-14. Ultimately, the Bills pulled through and defeated the Patriots. Last year, the Patriots were removed from the playoffs dues to a loss against the same Buffalo Bills but with a crushing score of 17-47.
Sunday’s game would have been the first post-season advance without Tom Brady since 2019. Three Patriots won’t be back for the upcoming season, Devin McCourty, Matthew Slater, and Matt Patricia.
When Belichick was asked about plans for the next season, the response was vague but there was major dissatisfaction in his mannerisms. He and Kraft will reassess their plans as they hold themselves and the players accountable.
We just want to relive the golden years of 2015-2019 when we had someone to cheer for!
