August is notoriously the season of North End festivals here in Boston. With one after the other, you can enjoy flavors of Rome, Sicily, the Amalfi Coast, and more right in Boston’s North End. A variety of feasts will run all August with plenty of food, performances, history, and more at these historic and vibrant North End festivals:
July 31-August 3: Saint Agrippina Feast
This feast honors the Sicilian Princess, Saint Agrippina of Mineo. The North End feast will run on Hanover Street for 4 days with food and beverage, games, raffles, live entertainment and more!

August 8-10: Madonna Della Cava Feast
2024 marks the 104th anniversary of the historic Madonna Della Cava Feast! The festival will also take place on Hanover Street and crossover to Battery Street as well! The festival includes dozens of vendors in addition to raffles and 3 marching bands!

Thursday, August 14-17: Fisherman’s Feast
The Fisherman’s Feast is Boston’s oldest continuous Italian festival, starting back in 1910! This year marks the 114th festival and it’s slated to be a bigger and better than ever! The Fisherman’s Feast features days of interactive food competitions like a Best Meatball Faceoff and cooking demos by local celebrity chefs!
August 28-31: Saint Anthony’s Feast
Beginning at 5 PM on August 28, will be the opening ceremonies of St. Anthony’s Feast! The celebration will close out the North End festival season in Boston with a Benvenuti Parade, Italian-American entertainment, and lots of tastings!
