Norse Atlantic Airways is the new kid on the block, or should we say, terminal. Founded in 2021 by CEO Bjørn Tore Larsen, the 56-year-old introduced Norse Atlantic Airways to a post-pandemic world. The inaugural flight took place from Oslo Airport in Norway and safely landed at NYC’s John F. Kennedy International Airport on June 14, 2022.
Since then, the company has flown hundreds of flights between its two servicing continents, North America, and Europe. Currently Norse offers direct flights from 7 major United States cities:
- Boston
- New York City
- Washington D.C.
- Fort Lauderdale
- Orlando
- San Francisco
- Los Angeles
As an international flight company, these American cities offer direct flights via Norse Atlantic Airways to the following European destinations:
- Paris
- Berlin
- Rome
- Oslo
- London
Norse is headquartered in Arendal, Norway and operates a fleet of Boeing 787 aircraft. Norse will open its Boston operations starting in September of this year, with the first flight set to take off on Saturday, September 2, 2023. London will be Boston’s debut city with direct flight options from Logan via Norse Atlantic Airways.
