With a scheduled opening for May 2024, MonteVerdi brings a one-of-a-kind dining experience to Cambridge. The Italian restaurant will debut at the Royal Sonesta Boston/Cambridge situated right on the Charles River waterfront.
86 of the sprawling waterfront restaurant’s seats are dedicated to the outdoor patio which will include chaise loungers and blazing firepits to cozy up to as you savor the Italian cuisine and dazzling view.
Right on the banks of the Charles River
Despite an abundance of coastal land, Boston’s waterfront dining options are scarce, especially those adjacent to the stunning Charles River. So, to say we’re excited about this opening would be an understatement.
The restaurant designer, Petra Hausberger, will transform the former space currently occupied by Dante, to include unobstructed views of the river to admire the Boston skyline right from your table.
The main dining room brims sophistication with walnut woods, fluted walls, bronze accents, terrazzo porcelain flooring, and plush velvet seating. MonteVerdi’s private dining room includes 20-foot-tall ceilings with skyline views. The restaurant will open just in time for the warmer months at the AAA-Four-Diamond Royal Sonesta hotel in Kendall Square.
