Reader’s Digest recently named the town one of the top 25 best places to spot fall foliage in the United States. Starting in late September, the area’s landscapes are ablaze with reds, yellows, and greens, with peak foliage coloration in early October.
According to the publication, Kennedy Park and Mount Greylock State Reservation are the best outdoor spots to admire autumn’s natural beauty. In addition to being a great spot to hike, bike, and kayak, there’s plenty of shopping and entertainment in town as well. It’s the perfect peaceful fall getaway spot!
