There will be a new resort to make a splash in on the Cape this summer. Margaritaville Cape Cod is slated to open come summer of 2024!
Margaritaville will open in the former Cape Codder Resort & Spa. This resort is famously known for its 30,000-square-foot indoor water park which featured two pools, a lazy river, and several waterslides. Luckily, Margaritaville will maintain the Cape Codder’s indoor water park in addition to many other amenities.
The resort is undergoing a $30 million renovation in preparation for summer. Rooms are now booking and here’s a sneak peak of what you’ll be able to enjoy at the new resort!

Conceptualized by Vermont interior design agency, The McBride Company, the resort’s design seamlessly merges Margaritaville’s “casual luxury” with the natural beauty of Cape Cod.
Plymouth, Massachusetts group, Linchris, will manage the new property. The resort will stay open year-round and include design elements to adapt to each season.
We are extremely excited to share this iconic brand with one of the premier vacation destinations in the United States,” said Bob Anderson, President of Linchris. “With the property’s opening, we invite visitors to enjoy all the Cape has always had to offer with a twist. Margaritaville Resort Cape Cod will bring an incredible resort experience, a new destination within a destination.
The resort will boast 272 rooms offering an elevated Margaritaville experience while remaining quintessentially Cape Cod. Margaritaville Cape Cod will feature the 30,000-square-foot indoor water park, an outdoor pool, full-service spa, entertainment on-site, LandShark Bar & Grill, and a 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar.
“Cape Cod is a place with so much history, charm, and personality – it’s the perfect location for our first New England lodging destination,” said Rick Cunningham, Senior Vice President of Development at Margaritaville. “Our resorts bring together thoughtful amenities and tropical design elements that provide guests with reimagined travel experiences and Margaritaville Resort Cape Cod promises the same.”
