Coming late spring, Lulu Green will open a second location. The “Boston’s best” vegan restaurant, which planted roots on West Broadway in Southie, is headed across the Charles to sprout a second location in Kendall Square. Exclusive to the new location, Lulu Green Kendall Square plans to serve crispy hand-cut fries.
Lulu Green’s chef-driven approach to vegan food includes putting a plant-based spin on fan favorites like avocado toast, made Lulu Green style with Za’atar + Sea Salt Focaccia, Avocado, Cashew Cheese, Pickled Vegetables, Cucumber, and Spiced Pepitas. They also don’t shy away from traditional carnivorous entrees. The menu includes a Prosciutto Scramble made with seitan and topped with truffle vinaigrette or a Succulent Mushroom Short Rib dish.
Lulu Green’s menu features Lebanese influences in its flavors, inspired by the owner’s origins.
We’re thrilled to share this concept with the Cambridge community,” says Mary Lattouf, co-founder of Lulu Green.”Our vision is to create more than just a restaurant—we want to offer the community a welcoming gathering space where incredible food, genuine hospitality, and a fun atmosphere come together to create a remarkable experience that people want to share with their friends and family.
Sisters Mary and Nada Lattouf fuse their passion of clean eating with delicious Lebanese flavors. Mary Lattouf, the visionary behind Lulu Green, is a food educator and is certified in plant-based nutrition through Cornell University. Nada Lattouf is a physicist and pharmacist passionate about functional plant-based foods. The sisters bring their mom’s technique and love for food and family, and their father’s passion for garden-fresh produce to Lulu Green, where plants take center stage.
