The Raffles Hotel adds yet another standout dining option to its property in Back Bay. La Padrona, Back Bay’s newest Italian restaurant, is slated to open on May 15 inside the 35-story glass building adjacent to Back Bay Station and the John Hancock Tower.

The double-decker restaurant includes a lounge and signature restaurant. Enjoy world-class dining from the helms of of James Beard Award-Winning Chef Jody Adams and Executive Chef Amarilys Colon. The name translates to proprietress, or master in Italian, and master the art of Italian dining they well.

The 8,600-square-foot space at La Padrona comes draws influence from the Golden Era of Cinema. The multisensory restaurant offers stellar views of Back Bay, flexible seating options, and “custom ceiling-mounted light fixtures that exude the glamour and modernity of Italy’s Neorealist Period.”
So, what’s on the menu?
La Padrona’s dinner menu will transport guests to the Italian coast with bold Sicilian flavors. “I really want our guests to experience the authenticity of a true Italian dining experience without leaving Boston,” notes Jody Adams, Chef and Chief Culinary Officer of A Street Hospitality and La Padrona.
Pane (bread starters) include Cacio E Pepe Focaccia, or the traditional Tuscan Flatbread, complete with rosemary, extra virgin olive oil and Maldon salt. Other highlights include a Lobster and Uni Risotto, Paccheri & Clams, and Spring Vegetable Fritto! For dessert, the Florentine Cannoli served in an almond lace shell and filled with orange zested whipped ricotta offers a sweet ending to a spectacular meal!
