My friends and I got to play with 8 sweet golden retrievers and 2 darling retriever puppies on this amazing farm. We giggled and chased and played with these dogs and had so much fun. The dogs were well behaved and very friendly. The farm was such a treat to experience as well.
Another visitor of Golden Dog Farm noted:
Their warm and friendly hospitality was the perfect backdrop for spending a couple of hours with a pack of fluffy, happy goldens!!!! It was a perfect day. In addition to the puppy hugs and belly rubs, Becca and Doug provided delicious apple cider and donuts as well as tastings of their honey and maple syrup. That was an incredible surprise – it was the best tasting maple syrup I’ve ever had!!!!
The day was a perfect 10 in every way. We were lucky enough to grab tickets before they went viral. Don’t hesitate to book this trip. We can’t wait to return and do their farm tour and the bee experience.
While the Golden Retriever Experience is a main distinguisher of this Vermont farm, the property hosts an array of other experiences worth checking out. You can take a tour of the maple trees and learn more about beekeeping. The General Farm Tour includes tutorials on making maple syrup, visiting the farm’s organic orchards, and concludes with a tasting of Golden Dog Farm’s own honey and maple syrup!
About Golden Dog Farm
One pandemic and a few darted plans later, couple Doug and Becca left their city lives and toured 17,000 miles of the U.S. in an RV. Looking for a new place to live, they eventually came across this farm in Vermont near Stowe. Doug left his 9-5 in advertising, and Golden Dog Farm was born with a completely new lifestyle for the Cincinnati couple who now spend their days maple tapping, beekeeping, harvesting nuts, planting trees, and herding their adorable “happy.”
