Millions globally live in the parallel universe of Stars Hollow fandom. Bring thousands of those fans together for a weekend of themed fun, creating almost a lifelike Stars Hollow community, and you have the Gilmore Girls Fan Fest.
Now rebranded as the Firelight Event, the event hasn’t changed, just the name. It returns for its 11th year on Friday, October 18, and tickets, which go or $450 for the three-day event, are already sold out. “I’m ready to wallow now.” That noted, here’s a bit more about the annual festival, which joins thousands of Gilmore Girls fanatics each fall (already marking our calendars for next year).
Thousands of Gilmore Girls-obsessed fans gather for a three-day festival of meet and greets, trivia, crafts, and more! Meet with guests from the show such as Valerie Campbell, costume designer for Gilmore Girls, and Rona Benson who played Jodi on the show! In addition to meeting members from the set, cast and crew, each day is jam-packed with events inspired by the show.
There’s a mini Knit-a-thon, donut eating contest, chance to pledge yourself to the Puffs, book signing with Stan Zimmerman of The Girls: From Golden to Gilmore and much, much more! Find the full itinerary here!
The event takes place in the stunning, quintessential New England town of Guilford, Connecticut—which is a lot like Stars Hollow and runs from Friday, October 18, 2024 through Sunday, October 20, 2024.
The 2024 festival is sold out and tickets are required to enter, however, it’s an exciting event to keep in mind for next fall!
