College Football is coming to Fenway! While it might not be Boston colleges in the mix, it’s still so exciting that American football is coming to Fenway ballpark, it almost feels taboo. The park, which is traditionally the home base for Red Sox games and concerts, will be the destination for the inaugural Fenway Bowl.
Boston will make history by hosting this event. The Fenway Bowl will be the first Fenway Bowl ever to take place in Fenway Ballpark.
When is the Fenway Bowl?
Fenway will host two teams on Saturday, December 17 at 11 AM for the history-making event! Kentucky’s Louisville Cardinals will take on Ohio’s Cincinnati Bearcats. Louisville, led by Coach Scott Satterfield holds an all-time record of 11-12-1, and Cincinnati led by Coach Luke Fickell has an overall record of 9 to 11 at the moment. This is the first time these teams will rematch in nearly one decade!
It’s a big weekend for sports. The World Cup final will be viewed worldwide, and at some epic viewing parties around Boston on Sunday, December, 18 at 10 AM. Tickets for the Fenway Bowl currently range from $30 to $203.
