“Remember Love,” “Where to Begin,” and “Heart Talk” are just a few of the titles from bestselling author and poet Cleo Wade. A new mural in Boston Seaport from Cleo Wade is the author’s first concepted and designed mural.
The mural, titled “A Small & Mighty Truth” draws inspiration from her latest anthology, “Remember Love.” Situated on I-90 at the intersection of Congress Street, the strategically placed mural offers a colorful metaphor for life:
Remember: Going through it is often how we get to the other side of it.
The poetic words are visible as you travel through the tunnel into the new and transforming Seaport neighborhood. “Boston Seaport welcomes this inspiring new piece, adding to our fabulous collection of fun and inspiring public art. People will be pleasantly surprised with Cleo’s beautiful message as they enter the neighborhood,” said Ariel Foxman, VP, Brand & Experience Boston Seaport by WS Development.
The multi-colored mural features hand-painted letters in Wade’s signature typography. It sits 51′ by 17′ and offers a captivating message designed to inspire “viewers feeling overwhelmed or lost to return to the essence of love, particularly self-love, as a guiding force.”
“Whenever I create public art, my great hope is that it can be the message someone stumbles across, that holds them for a brief moment. We could all use a little support, a little love, in today’s world,” shares the celebrated author Cleo Wade.
