If you’re a stan of the “obligatory bathroom mirror selfie,” the most glamorous, dazzling, and jaw-dropping bathroom pic of all is hidden inside a restaurant at Boston’s new Lyrik hub. A recent addition to Back Bay, Lyrik features everything from the world’s largest citizenM hotel to an amazing Peruvian restaurant slated to debut soon.
On the rooftop of the citizenM hotel in Back Bay is a new concept from celebrated, award-winning local chef, Tiffani Faison.
Bubble Bath is an experience from the moment you enter, with Faison’s favorite silver sparkling elephant, a towering translucent bubble wall, and some of the best views of Boston, Cambridge, and beyond. Every inch of the space boasts aerial views of The Charles River, Commonwealth Avenue, Back Bay, Downtown, and beyond—with a seasonal outdoor terrace.
And the bubbling fantasy world designed in collaboration between Faison and citizenM doesn’t just end in the main space. A trip to the loo at Bubble Bath leaves you instantly amused; each private stall features a disco ball and adopts the name of a pop culture icon.
The end stalls, named after Pedro Pascal and Roxanne Gay, will have you scrambling to grab your camera, offering what might become one of the most-photographed bathrooms in Boston. With a dazzling silver disco ball reflecting off the ceiling and an expansive glass window with dreamy skyline views and a just-the-right-size sill to pose, these end stalls double as a memorable photo opportunity. Whether a bathroom mirror selfie or a full-on photoshoot, why not make the most of the mundane trip to the restroom?
And if you catch the red “occupied” lock on the Pedro Pascal or Roxanne Gay stalls, and actually just need to use the restroom, fret not, there are at least four other restroom stalls at your discretion.
