Bostonians Could See The First Snow Flakes Of The Season This Friday

Looks like Winter is making its way to Boston early this year!

Hold on to your Bean boots Bostonians because it looks like winter is coming in early this 2020. And by early we mean, it could snow in the city this Friday. Luckily for us, blizzards are not in our foreseeable future, though.

The forecast for Friday, October 30, calls for potential wet snow in the Boston area that could just as easily turn into really cold rain showers, as Boston weather tends to change in a heartbeat.

Friday’s snow is, weirdly enough, being brought about by the remnants of a tropical storm, according to CBS Boston, which will bring heavy rains to New England on Thursday evening.

The event is highly dependent on the elevation so the Worcester Hills and Berkshires have the best chance to see any light accumulation of snow.

Meanwhile, the NWS has already issued some winter weather warnings for Southern New England.

And while our phones are still trying to decide whether it will snow or not, it could still be on the menu for Friday and we’re kind of looking forward to the first snowflakes of the season — Anyone else getting early holiday cheer vibes?
