Sip on a delicious cocktail for a good cause.
From September 13 to 19, thousands of restaurants and bars around the US will be celebrating Negroni Week, a seven-day long event dedicated to the famous cocktail that also happens to be a fundraiser for charities around the world.
Hosted by Imbibe Magazine and Campari (one of the three essential ingredients of the cocktail!), Negroni Week has grown from about 120 participating venues in 2013 to over 12,000 venues around the world. To date, they’ve collectively raised over $3 million for charitable causes.
For this one week in September, 11 Boston bars and restaurants will mix classic Negronis and Negroni variations to raise money for the charity of their choice. While each restaurant gets to choose which charity they’d like to donate towards, the main charity organizations in Boston include Arbor Day Foundation, CORE, Little Free Library, and Lovin’ Spoonfuls.
