If you cannot wait until Memorial Day weekend for Boston Calling music festival, you’re in luck because the festivities are getting a head start this year and bonus- they’re free! This Thursday, April 6, High Street Place will host the second annual “Boston Calling Night.”
Boston Calling Night at High Street Place will feature a live performance from Boston Calling performer and local indie-rock pop band, The Q-Tip Bandits. A 2021 Boston Music Awards nominee for “Best New Artist”, the band is known for its energetic and eclectic mix of funk, soul, and jazz, bouncing beats across its 5 members.
With a tight rhythm section, blazing horns, and soulful vocals, their music is sure to keep the crowd dancing and grooving all night long. The 5-piece band will take the stage for two explosive live sets.
Later, DJ-J Wall continues the live entertainment by spinning hits from artisits performing at this year’s festival like Paramore and the Foo Fighters.
Taking place in one of Boston’s most celebrated food halls, there will be an incredible mix of flavors to make your taste buds sing! From fresh-shucked oysters at Dive Bar to sizzling cheesy pizza from Tenderoni’s, there won’t be a dull moment at this Boston Calling preview party!
