Returning for its fourth year, Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Market once again returned on the Seaport Common. With a record 60+ vendors in the market this year, it’s a shopping opportunity and community celebration you won’t want to miss!
Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Market was named the Best Retail Pop Up of 2021 by Boston Magazine for its diverse collection of art, cosmetic and wellness products, clothing, children’s books, handmade jewelry, and more. This year, the market will offer even more opportunities to connect with and support local businesses.
Launched in 2019, Black Owned Bos. (pronounced “boss”) highlights and lifts Black owned businesses, places, spaces and the people moving the culture forward in the Greater Boston area. The organization creates spaces to amplify, incubate, and support through strategic partnerships, intentional projects, and curated retail opportunities – including the Seaport market.
All vendors featured at the market are members of Black Owned Bos.’s incredible local network and will have their own tented area to showcase and sell their goods. Plus, there will be music provided by KNSZWRTH and DJ Slick Vick. For the lineup of 2023 participating businesses, check out Seaport’s website.
“This season of the Seaport x Black Owned Bos. will be our best yet! Our goal for this season is to create a destination experience where people look forward to something new each month and can spend the day with us eating, shopping, and discovering their new, favorite retail brands,” said Jae’da Turner, Founder and Managing Director of Black Owned Bos.
Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Market is free and open to the public. It will take place rain or shine on May 21, June 25, July 23, August 20, September 24, and October 8, 2023. Each market will run from 12pm-6pm on Seaport Common (85 Northern Avenue).
