If you’re on the hunt for best nightclubs in Boston, there are probably less than you can count on your fingers. The nightlife scene in Boston is notoriously nonexistent, with most restaurants not even staying open past 10 PM.

With the onboarding of the city’s first-ever Nightlife Director, Corean Reynolds, who began her job on March 6, 2023, that along with many other safety aspects of Boston nightlife are expected to change. 1. Caveau Boston, Downtown
This otherworldly restaurant and nightclub is hidden behind an old pawn shop. From the COJE Management Group, of Coquette and Y’vonne’s you know the decor is going to be mind-blowing!

2. Borrachito, Seaport
Another hidden hangout, Borrachito’s nightclub and lounger chills behind an industrial cooler with the passageway entrance at the tail of its adjacent taqueria. Walk through a tunnel into a retro-inspired spacious lounge at night.

3. The Grand, Seaport
12,000 square feet of letting loose, The Grand is Boston’s premiere nightlife destination. It boasts a 70-footlong LED wall and hosts celebrity DJs and athletes on the regular.

4. Mariel, Downtown
As one of the most “Instagrammable” restaurants in Boston, it’s no surprise that Mariel Boston’s sneakily sequestered nightclub offers decor just as beautiful. The secret hangout sits below but raises the roof Thursdays through Saturday.

5. The Phoenix Landing, Central Square, Cambridge
Transforming from daytime restaurant to full on nightclub, this destination is popular for sports fans-especially soccer fanatics. At night it’s anyone’s ballpark, with an extensive roster of musical hits and fun themed nights throughout the year. Fans of the lively spot like to call it TPL for short.
