According to over 50 million submitted ratings on the foodie favorite app, Beli Eats, Boston’s Yume Ga Arukara is the best place in the country for udon noodles. Once you witness how these noodles are made, the trailing lines to enjoy a meal at the tiny restaurant, and finally taste a bowl of Yume udon, it’s easy to understand why they are so popular.
Yuma Ga Arukara ranked #1 udon in nation
Guests swoon over the Signature Spicy Hot Niku udon noodles. When most people think noodles, they think hot noodz. Yume Ga Arukara is even more heralded for its cold noodles.
The fan favorite is the cold version of the dish, the Signature Spicy Cold Niku which comes with their juicy thin beef, hand-pulled fresh noodles, and crispy tempura.
About Yuma Ga Arukara
Translating to “because I have a dream,” Yume Ga Arukara opened in 2016 Porter Square. It was a dream come true for the duo Tsuyoshi Nishioka and Juan Carlos Vidal. They recently opened a second location in Boston Seaport at The Suprette.
Yume’s goal is to maintain the integrity and authenticity of Japanese udon, handmaking all noodles using imported Japanese equipment. They’ve perfected their complex cold dipping sauce, which has people coming back for more. The dishes are finished with a sweet and spicy beef combo made in-house.
Udon menu
The menu at Yume Ga Arukara is small, just four items to pick from, but perfectly executed. They serve hot udon and cold udon, which both can be ordered regular or spicy. Prices range from $12-$25 depending on the size and extra toppings of an udon order.
