Coming in with a near perfect score of 98.47 out of 100, Boston’s XV Beacon Hotel earned the accolade of the “best city hotel in America.”
The ranking comes from the recent release of Travel +Leisure’s “World’s Best Awards.”
XV Beacon ranks among best hotels in the world
The Boston hotel located on Beacon Hill, just steps from the Massachusetts State House, ranked as the best city hotel in the nation. The property also ranked number 55 overall among the world’s best hotels.

Methodology
This lineup marks the 31st year of the annual Travel +Leisure’s “World’s Best Awards.” Over 200,000 readers cast more than 600,000 votes to rank their favorite hotels worldwide.
More than 10,000 properties were among the nominees, with just hundreds making the final lists. The publication ranked and categorized the top-rated hotels to create the final list.
Also earning recognition among New England getaways is Maine’s The Claremont Hotel, which earned recognition as New England’s best oceanfront resort.
