The game itself begins at 3 p.m. EST. Because it’s the final, coverage begins around 1 p.m. EST, with the World Cup closing ceremony taking place 90 minutes before kickoff, at about 1:30 p.m. EST.
Pre-game closing ceremony
The closing ceremony takes place before the game, at 1:30 p.m. EST. It features a performance of the national anthem by Jennifer Hudson, along with appearances and performances by Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger, Robbie Williams, and IShowSpeed, as well as a special appearance by Tom Cruise.
World Cup Final half-time show
In addition to the closing ceremony, there will be a halftime show after the first 45 minutes of play, plus any added time. The halftime show begins around 4 p.m. and includes performances from Chris Martin of Coldplay, Justin Bieber, Madonna, Gustavo Dudamel, and BTS.
