Hold on to your duck boots Bostonians, more snow is coming!
Looks like winter isn’t done with us yet. The National Weather Service recently issued a new winter storm watch in the Boston area for Thursday, February 18.
There is growing confidence in a plowable snowfall event for Thursday into Friday, as such we've issued a Winter Storm Watch in conjunction with our neighboring offices. More details to come #MAwx #CTwx #RIwx pic.twitter.com/6fF8S3OVkE

The storm will likely be lighter than the snowstorms the city has seen this winter. “Most of this event will be light to moderate intensity and drawn out over time, with the best accumulation taking place Thursday night,” explained Eric Fisher, WBZ’s chief meteorologist, in a tweet.
The snowstorm is set to hit the area on Thursday evening dropping up to eight inches of snow in Northern Connecticut, Rhode Island, and most of Massachusetts except Cape Cod and Islands. Sleet and ice, the NWS says, are less likely.
Travel will nonetheless be difficult with hazardous conditions impacting the morning or evening commute Thursday and Friday.
