Back Bay, get ready to welcome Willow & Ivy at The Lenox this spring! The restaurant will open at Back Bay’s historic hotel which was featured in the 2022 film, About Fate featuring Madelaine Petsch and Emma Roberts.
A new dining spot at Boston’s historic The Lenox
The Lenox, located at the corner of Boylston and Exeter Streets in Boston’s Back Bay, is an independent luxury hotel known for its heartfelt hospitality and rich history, having been built in 1900 by the owner of New York’s Waldorf-Astoria.
Once the tallest building in Boston, it offers 214 elegant guest rooms and suites, including the famed Judy Garland Suite, named after the iconic singer who resided there for three months in 1965. Family-owned since 1963, The Lenox combines classic luxury with modern amenities, featuring three dining options and six meeting spaces, making it a popular venue for events and gatherings.
The new dining concept, Willow & Ivy will open in spring of 2025, with an anticipated opening for March or early April, just in time for the Boston Marathon! Stay tuned for more information on an opening date and hours on the Willow & Ivy website.
About Willow & Ivy
Willow & Ivy, led by Executive Chef Daniel Kenney, will introduce a fresh perspective on New England-inspired American cuisine in the space formerly occupied by City Table, which closed on December 15, 2024. This restaurant transformation is part of a broader revamp of The Lenox’s food and beverage offerings, which also includes the rebranding of City Bar and Solas to The Irving and Sweeney’s on Boylston, respectively.
Willow & Ivy promises a refined yet inviting experience, celebrating regional flavors and culinary craftsmanship. The restaurant’s centerpiece will be a live tree in the dining room, connecting Boston’s greenspaces with the interior. Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and embracing the textures of the neighborhood, Willow & Ivy will serve signature dishes like Maine Lobster “Pie” and Orange Blossom Honey Glazed Duck Breast. Open daily for breakfast and dinner, Willow & Ivy marks the final phase of The Lenox’s comprehensive food and beverage program revamp.
