Just 15 minutes by car or slightly over 30 minutes by train, Weston Ski Track is one of the best spots to indulge in some winter play without the stress of rental cars or hotels. While much of the snow is machine-made, the Department of Conservation & Recreation-run recreational park boasts over 2,000 acres of terrain covered in fresh powder.
It’s not Stowe or North Conway, but the ski track offers a convenient escape just outside of the city to experience winter wonder and get in a good sweat with a classic winter sport.
Weston Ski Track offers terrain for skate skiing, grooved tracks for cross-country skiing, and plenty of space for snowshoeing. With lessons for adults and children, it’s the perfect spot in Greater Boston to learn a new winter skill, or brush up on your skiing technique.
