Providence’s very own bonfire and art festival will be back this weekend.
WaterFire is a multifaceted arts, music, and bonfire event located in Providence, Rhode Island.
The citywide festival is set to return on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, September 4, with a full bonfire lighting ceremony dedicated to essential workers.
This year will be the 25th anniversary of Providence’s iconic tourist attraction. There will be four full lighting ceremonies along with five partial lightings.
The 2021 season of WaterFire will continue through the first week in December. Be sure to check out waterfire.org for a full list of the lighting ceremonies.
WaterFire is free to enjoy by the public, but the event organizers welcome donations as well.
