Three iconic Boston restaurant concepts from the same restaurant group announced their last day of service as New Year’s Day in 2027.
It’s a sad start to the New Year for fans of Bar Mezzana, Shore Leave, and No Relation, three of the restaurants from Traveler Street Hospitality.
“We had 10 years, and we’re really proud of everything we’ve done here,” shared Colin Lynch, founder of Traveler Street Hospitality, with The Boston Globe. “We have unbelievable employees who are still here; all the guests are the reason we do it.”
Lynch cited increasing rent costs as the impetus behind the closure. The restaurants will resume regular business hours through January 1, 2027.
About Traveler Street Hospitality
Traveler Street Hospitality (TSH) is a family of “South End-centric” restaurants owned and operated by Chef Colin Lynch, Heather Kennaway Lynch, and Jefferson Macklin. The family includes Bar Mezzana, Shore Leave, No Relation, and Black Lamb.
Black Lamb, which opened in 2019, will remain open.
Bar Mezzana is the original Traveler Street Hospitality concept that brought a coastal Italian restaurant to Harrison Avenue in June 2016. It’s become a popular spot for dinner, serving crudo, pasta, and more.
Shore Leave is a kitschy Tiki spot just across the street from Bar Mezzana. Tucked inside is the third concept shutting down, No Relation, an omakase speakeasy in the back of Shore Leave.
All three concepts’ last day of service is Friday, January 1, 2027.
