This weekend, The Rink at The Tall Ship debuts on Boston Harbor. Boston’s favorite floating oyster bar transforms into a winter wonderland beginning the evening of Friday, January 16!
The main attraction of The Rink is the addition of a seasonal outdoor ice rink, so you can skate along Boston Harbor, in one of the best spots to enjoy a Boston sunset. For those who might be a little intimidated by ice skating, The Rink will also have ice bumper cars, perfect for families and groups.
In addition to adrenaline-filled ice activities, The Rink at The Tall Ship features cozy chalets, market stalls, warming features, and a robust food and beverage program brought to you by Navy Yard Hospitality. Staying on-theme, the ski lodge-inspired oasis includes Airstream food trailers serving grilled cheese sandwiches, hearty soups, hot cocoa, and piping hot Belgian waffles!
“We’re consistently looking for new opportunities to activate the Boston waterfront with engaging hospitality experiences,” said Salvatore Boscarino, Co-Founder of Navy Yard Hospitality Group. “The Rink at The Tall Ship introduces a fresh concept that blends activity, programming, and entertainment, bringing an exciting ‘wow’ factor to Boston.”
The Rink will open in two phases, a soft launch opening slated for Friday, January 16 at 4 PM until 10 PM. More winter amenities will be introduced in time for the official grand opening on Wednesday, February 11. The Rink at The Tall Ship will make the most of the season, opening daily through March.
