Now with retail locations in California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, and Texas, The RealReal makes its way to the Boston area! While your mailbox may already be familiar with the luxury reseller, this marks the first Massachusetts brick-and-mortar for The RealReal.
Adding to an existing shop in Greenwich, Connecticut, this marks the second New England location for The RealReal. 14 of the existing 17 locations offer a browse and shop feature for customers, with all acting as a space to drop off goods for consignment.
The RealReal to open in Chestnut Hill
The RealReal will open its first ever Boston area store at The Street at Chestnut Hill in late 2026. The elevated shopping, dining and entertainment strip is accessible via MBTA. The new store will offer a hybrid of shopping and a space to drop off goods for consignment.
The RealReal’s selection of one-of-a-kind luxury handbags, jewelry, watches, clothing, shoes, and accessories, from coveted designers including Chanel, Gucci, The Row and Cartier, all authenticated by trained experts will fill the space!

Luxury resale arrives at The Street this year
In 2017, The RealReal opened its first brick-and-mortar location in Manhattan. This year, they will open their first Massachusetts store at The Street at Chestnut Hill, just 20 minutes from Boston:

The new store opens at 27 Boylston Street Suite 27-210 in late 2026.
