CambridgeSide is hosting a special canned food donation drive through tomorrow, Wednesday, November 16. All donations will be included in Thanksgiving baskets prepared by the Salvation Army for local families in need. With the help of local residents, the Massachusetts Salvation Army was able to donate 10,000 meals in 2021 according to a statement from the Community Corps of Massachusetts.
The Salvation Army is partnering again with CambridgeSide to host this annual food drive:
We are pleased to again partner with CambridgeSide on this important donation drive to help local families this holiday season.
Said Major Judy Heart, of the Cambridge Salvation Army Community Corps Center.
