The Boston Pops travel west this summer, and if you’re a fan of I’m Yours, I Won’t Give Up, or Lucky you might think about making the trip to the picturesque Berkshires town of Lenox, Massachusetts. Jason Mraz joins the Boston Pops to make his Tanglewood debut ahead of the Fourth of July holiday.
The performance is part of the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s “2024 Tanglewood Popular Artist Series,” where the orchestra and Boston Pops perform with acclaimed artists from all over the globe. While this is Mraz’s first performance at Tanglewood, it’s the 86th Tanglewood Summer Season.
The Shed at Tanglewood is an outdoor amphitheater with occupancy for 13,000 on the lawn and 5,000 canopied seats to enjoy summer concerts in the Berkshire Hills. Other popular artists are also slated to perform at Tanglewood this summer such as 11-time Grammy winner, Brandi Carlile, a special 50th anniversary performance of James Taylor and his All-Star Band on July 3 and 4, and Academy Award winner Jon Batiste.
Jason Mraz performs on Tuesday, July 2 at 7 PM. Find the full schedule of performances via Boston Symphony Orchestra.
