Could there be anything more relaxing than walking through a field full of blossoming lavender plants during summer? Just picture it, the radiant purple blossoms covering the fields, their fresh, relaxing scent wafting up into the warm summer air, all against the beautiful backdrop of Mount Wachusett — Absolutely wonderful!
The Farm at SummitWynds in Jefferson, MA, is bringing back its Lavender Farm Fest just in time for summer and it promises tranquil walks through the lavender fields, live music and tons more lavender-themed fun!
The farm is kicking off its Lavender Farm Fest from June 21-23 and June 28-30. The farm fest features live music on weekends, plenty of lavender-themed dishes and lavender-infused drinks, like their lavender lemonade made from SummitWynds lavender, as well as horseback riding and pony rides, an Artisanal Marketplace and self-guided farm tours. Visitors will also be able to unwind with wonderful yoga classes in the lavender fields — think of how relaxed you’ll be! — and go on a hike through the farm’s nearby trail in order to experience wilder nature.
Of course, we cannot forget the farm’s lavender labyrinth through which you’ll be able to stroll at your leisure and take all the pictures necessary to spring up your Instagram feed!
The Lavender Farm Fest will be taking place on select dates during June before the farm gives way to its Unicorn Experience later in July! Tickets can be purchased ahead of time on the farm’s website.
