It is showtime Bostonians!
Rev up your engines and grab your popcorn for a totally spooktacular Haloween movie marathon because Suffolk Down’s Summer Drive-in is transforming into a terrifyingly fun auto cinema just in time for All Hallow’s Eve!
The pop-up drive-in has been showing awesome movies the whole summer long and now it’s coming back for a special Halloween edition weekend. Spooky Screens at Suffolk Downs is returning on Friday, October 23, for an awesome weekend movie marathon featuring scary fun classics like Beetlejuice and more!
The drive-in will be stationed at Suffolk Downs Clubhouse and will be showing double features of Beetlejuice, Hocus Pocus and Scream all throughout the weekend. You can check the full schedule below:
- Friday, October 23: Beetlejuice, 6 p.m. or 9 p.m.
- Saturday, October 24: Hocus Pocus, 6 p.m. or 9 p.m.
- Sunday, October 25: Scream, 6 p.m. or 9 p.m.
If you’re like us and tend to get peckish while watching movies you’re welcome to bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages from home, but there will also be food trucks available on-site if you prefer to try something a bit different!
To ensure the safety of all attendants vehicles will be spaced out for social distancing and masks will be required in common areas. All audio will be streamed through an FM transmitter and the proper frequency will be provided once you arrive at the venue.
Tickets are $30 per car and cover up to 6 people traveling together. They can be purchased online via the Summer Screen at Suffolk Downs’ website.
