Heralded for its award-winning skincare, Sisley Paris will open its first brick-and-mortar on Charles Street. France is often considered the Mecca of the beauty industry, with expertise in everything from skincare to fragrance.
Sisley began in 1976 as a husband-wife operation founded by Hubert and Isabelle d’Ornano. To this day, Isabelle remains involved in the company’s creative direction, and the globally scaled company remains a family-led operation. Sisley is in hundreds of stores worldwide, with nearly 8,000 points of sale and a strong presence in high-end retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, and Bluemercury.
The cosmetics brand has a few brick-and-mortar shops and spas around the world, and an institute/boutique hybrid known as “Maison Sisley.” Currently, there are Maison Sisley locations in Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Munich, Prague, Milan, Madrid, Shanghai, and New York.
The new location on Charles Street will be the first for Boston! The Sisley shop will occupy the former Benefit Cosmetics waxing center and brow bar. An opening date has not been announced. Check back for updates.
